This report covers a four year monitoring project conducted in the Chinchaga and Caribou Mountains caribou ranges in Northwest Alberta. Led by the Northwest Species at Risk (NWSAR) Committee in collaboration with the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute (ABMI) and the Alberta Trappers Association (ATA), the study aimed to estimate population densities of key ungulate and predator species to inform woodland caribou management. This is the final report for NWSAR and ATA joint project for Mammals. Project data is from 2020-2023.
