Starting in 2022, we began to collect wide-area lidar data across the province of Alberta, with some data being collected in northeastern British Columbia. Our goal is to make these high-quality datasets freely available and accessible to benefit land managers, Indigenous communities, policymakers, researchers and the broader community. We are committed to partnering, using, and sharing lidar data to improve natural resource science and natural resource management.

Currently nine derivative lidar products are available for download and are listed under the headings below. The datasets are all from the Christina Lake area of interest. The location and boundary of the Christina Lake area of interest are shown on the map below for context. For inquiries about lidar data products, please contact abmidata@ualberta.ca.
