Description: Edmonton isn’t known as the "go-to" place for lichen research, but this could change! Here we provide descriptions, keys, images, molecular phylogenies and maps for 114 lichens and allied fungi detected across Edmonton, including 12 new to Alberta, two new to North America, and five new to science. This collaborative floristic work is the first step in exploring the use of lichens as air quality and climate biomonitors in Alberta's urban environments.
