Position Summary
The GIS and Lidar Technician supports the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute’s (ABMI) Vegetation Regeneration Mapping project within the Imaging Center’s Operations Team. Key responsibilities include quality control of lidar datasets, delineating linear features such as seismic lines, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of geospatial data. This role requires strong GIS and technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to apply geospatial solutions.

Applicants must reside in Alberta or be willing to relocate.
Location - Alberta Position - Full time (40hrs/week) Start - January 2, 2025 Term - 3 months Salary -$20-25/hr
