Use of an Acoustic Location System to Understand Songbird Response to Vegetation Regeneration on Reclaimed Wellsites in the Boreal Forest of Alberta
Four chapter thesis assessing the use of acoustic methods to quantify songbird community response to vegetation recovery on reclaimed wellsites in the Boreal Forest. Also evaluated is the use of an acoustic location system in understanding the presence of conspecifics and canopy cover influence on Ovenbird (Seiurus aurocapilla) space use near reclaimed wellsites.
